The third annual Paul Reubens’ Day will be held on Saturday July 23rd, 2005 in San Francisco, California. To honor the three years of Pee-wee mayhem this year’s Paul Reubens’ Day will boast three phases of Pee-wee debauchery, including and encouraged by our teaming up with the Center for Sex and Culture and Peaches Christ to ensure the most outrageous, outlandish, and Reubenesque PRD ever!!!

The first event is the Paul Reubens’ Procession/ pub crawl (Bring I.D.!). It will begin at 1pm at a location yet to be disclosed (it will be announced 2 weeks before the event). The PRD procession is free, however bringing cash for drinks and transportation (muni, etc) is strongly advised. Pee-wee and/ or Paul Reubens related attire is incredibly necessary.  Note to editor: Visuals Available upon request FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE THIRD ANNUAL PAUL REUBENS’ DAY COMES TO SAN FRANCISCO San Francisco, CA -– The "Drunken Redheaded Sluts," in conjunction with the Center for Sex and Culture (CSC) and Midnight Mass with Peaches Christ (www.peacheschrist.com), will once again host Paul Reubens’ Day (PRD), which will be celebrated for the third year in a row this July. PRD is a playful and naughty tribute to the unique work of actor Paul Reubens (Pee-wee Herman), as well as a public spectacle supporting sexual expression. In the tradition of the Cacophony Society, whose costume-focused events include Santarchy and the Urban Iditarod, PRD is a madcap trek through a different neighborhood each year, with stops and impromptu performances in local pubs (Bring I.D.!), toy stores and parks. Participants deck out in Pee-wee related costumes, adopt the voice and mannerisms of the former children's TV star, and delight the public with their impersonations, masse renditions of the "Tequila Dance," and sly adult humor. Hollywood reports that Mr. Reubens is currently working on two new Pee-wee movies, while in Northern California, all aspects of his legacy will be lauded on July 23, 2005, the first Paul Reubens’ Day to boast three Pee-wee events.

 This year’s PRD will incorporate the usual afternoon procession as well as a night-time benefit party for the CSC and a special screening of Pee-wee’s Big Adventure at Midnight Mass, hosted by the cult heroine drag queen movie buff, Peaches Christ.
